2011 Big Dam Bridge 100. Little Rock, Arkansas

The Big Dam Bridge 100 is the largest cycling tour in the state of Arkansas. The 2011 event was held on Sept. 24, 2011. The starting line is in downtown Little Rock. There are 16 mile, 30 mile, 50 mile, 68 mile, and 100 mile routes. The finish line is in North Little Rock's historic Argenta district.

Arkansas lawmakers listened to a presentation on the Smart 911 system Wednesday. Currently when 911 is dialed, dispatch gets very limited information on who is calling, from what location, or what the emergency is, but with Smart 911 the person's picture could pop up along with medical history and location of residence. North Little Rock Assistant Fire Chief Steve Smith says that access to information could save your life.
